Bleaching & Whitening

Cleaning & Prophylaxis

A dental prophylaxis is a cleaning procedure performed to thoroughly clean the teeth. Prophylaxis is an important dental treatment for halting the progression of periodontal disease and gingivitis.

Root Canal Treatment

When dental decay has advanced to the point that an infection has developed in the pulp inside our tooth, a root canal treatment may be necessary. Today’s root canals provide relief from pain while preserving your tooth without the discomfort they’re known for.

Invisalign & Orthodontics

Implants & Surgery

Dr. Per-Ingvar Brånemark invented the dental implant as we know it in 1952. Since that time, they have been considered the ideal tool for replacing missing teeth and restoring smiles for patients. As a result, implants not only provide beautiful, durable teeth that appear natural, they actually help protect the jaw from further deterioration.

Tooth Replacement

Whether through trauma, decay, or misadventure, a large segment of the population are missing at least one tooth. Patients at Alex Burns DDS Group are able to restore their smiles with teeth replacement services performed by our team of dental professionals.

Bonding

Tooth bonding (dental bonding) is a cosmetic dental procedure that repairs a chipped, cracked, or otherwise broken tooth. It also helps with discolored teeth, gaps between the teeth, and even lengthening a tooth hat’s shorter than the rest.

Periodontal Treatment

The first nonsurgical step usually involves a special cleaning, called “scaling and root planing,” to remove plaque and tartar deposits on the tooth and root surfaces. This procedure helps gum tissue to heal and periodontal pockets to shrink. This is sometimes referred to as “peri- odontal cleaning” or “deep cleaning.”

Partials / Dentures

A partial denture is a removable, yet natural-looking dental appliance that helps restore the form and function of your jaw by replacing one or several missing teeth. Partial dentures are made from a combination of metal and acrylic – which gives them the strength to handle your needs for chewing and speaking, while also looking natural.

I started my lifetime of dental work with Dr Burns father and when he was retiring he asked if I wanted to continue with his son Alex? I told him that if Alex is as good as him sure! As it turned out, Dr Burns is the best Dentist you will ever find. For those of us who are chickens, he is great .Thanks Doc!

I can't say enough about the professionalism, warmth, sincerity and friendly atmosphere displayed by the entire staff. If you try out this office, you will return. Been coming here for 40 years. There's a reason I keep coming back. It's clean, the staff is professional and the dentist actually cares about you as an individual. I've tried other dentists as I've moved to other places but the few I have tried haven't lived up. The cleanings at the other places are always rushed and the dentists are quick to act without much explanation. Not the case here. The cleanings are thorough and if more work is required, I always feel well informed about why and don't feel pressured to take action immediately. If you're looking for a family dentist interested in helping you and not just making a buck, give them a shot. They recently added cosmetic dental services. My wife has tried the teeth whitening and been pleased with the results. I'm considering doing Invisalign through them too.
